I have joined a great group of bloggers (hosted by Sarah at Kovescene of the Mind) who have shared a product with someone to try out with their students. I was partnered with Laura from Enchanting Elementary.
I picked her color word pack. This past week was review for us with sight words so this pack was very useful! My kiddos LOVED the activities each day.
So the practice sheets are wonderful for them to practice different ways to recognize and spell/write color words. This was a great review for my kinders this week. I copied 4 different color words front to pack in a stapled packet as their sight word center 3 days this week.
At the end of the week, they practiced reading each page of this easy reader and colored the pictures. It was great practice for my beginning readers. I love when they start to build "reading confidence" and become excited to pick up another book. This activity definitely made them excited to read!
Colors for the book are:
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, brown, black, gray
Now, check out the giveaway we have below with tons of goodies! You can also see the rest of the participating bloggers and hope to pick up some great tips and new products!
I love making books with my kids! When I taught primary, this would have been wonderful to use!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for helping students learning to read.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like fun and to have a book to keep when you're done makes for great keepsake!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining us. It looks like your students had a lot of fun with this.
ReplyDeleteI was going to answer but then I saw Vijay M's comprehensive answer which is absolutely correct. As he says, you will have to make out a convincing case to show that you were induced to buy the watch only because of the promised branded gift.
